The reconstruction of the oldest Liberec cinema, the Varšava, began in 2015 with the opening of a café in its foyer. The unique Art Deco building from 1922 underwent several reconstructions during the 20th century until its closure in 2008. The first part of the reconstruction took place with the help of dozens of volunteers and donors, individuals and companies. In the reconstruction, we tried to highlight the existing quality of space and detail and supplement them with contemporary elements. Reconstruction of the Cinema-Café won one of the Grand Prix Awards for Architecture in the category Artwork in Architecture in 2015.
