The first house was built through DIY using classic carpentry techniques. The use of nails and metal fasteners is kept to a minimum. Traditional carpentry structures are exhibited both inside and out. From the beginning, we strived to use the most natural and also waste materials in the building. The spaces between the solid wooden construction are filled with a wooden material produced by mixing water, sawdust and ground-up paper. The house was designed according to Le Corbusier’s Modulor proportional system, working with the ideal golden ratio.
