Reconstruction of the Varšava (Warsaw) Cinema as part of the Kino na třetí (Cinema Cubed) project. The reconstruction of the Varšava is mostly still in the planning stage. The planned renovation includes building facilities for performing artists and technical facilities in the expanded underground floor, with a complete reconstruction of the large and small halls. The architecture of the large hall evokes a film noir atmosphere, while striving to reflect in its morphology both the original Art Deco style of the 1920s and the troubled history of the Liberec’s geopolitical space during the 20th century, marked by the violent expulsions of Czech and German inhabitants from the city.
