Domov Harcov is an organization employing people with intellectual disabilities. In the newly purchased printing works built in the 1960s, it will run a protected upholstery workshop, where the clients will repair old furniture. The clients also requested the design of a shop where products would be displayed and sold. The building also has ambitions to serve the broader public as a centre of local activity with a café in the immediate vicinity on the ground floor. Our design offers the greatest possible connection between the building and the street. The café and the gallery shop has the character of a fragrant old workshop. The patch in front of the entrance lets passers-by take a break and for the clients to have a rest.
