IN THE GROVE/IM HAIN – BARRIER-FREE ROOM
The In the Grove room is like a small forest retreat in the Zittau border region, where the guest should feel safe as in a familiar place. The space and the furniture are adapted so that even a person in a wheelchair can use it comfortably. We have used old and new items from Czech and German manufacturers for the furnishings, and we have completed some of the furnishings ourselves.
The main motif is a spray painting on the wall without windows. The scene replaces the missing window and evokes a view of the forest – a grove. The painting is located in a place normally occupied by a television, so we believe that the guest will relax even more in our room.
